In 2019, Quagga Green has partnered with the Big Life Foundation.

Together, we are helping to protect over 1.6 million acres of wilderness in the Amboseli-Tsavo-Kilimanjaro ecosystem of East Africa. Big Life partners with local communities in Kenya to protect nature for the benefit of all.

Co-founded in September 2010 by photographer Nick Brandt, conservationist Richard Bonham, and entrepreneur Tom Hill, Big Life was the first organization in East Africa to establish coordinated cross-border anti-poaching operations. Since then, Big Life has expanded to employ hundreds of local Maasai rangers—with more than thirty permanent outposts and tent-based field units, thirteen Land Cruiser patrol vehicles, three tracker dogs, and two planes for aerial surveillance.

Quagga Green is fighting to protect the environment and all of its wild creatures because soon we will be beyond the point of no return. Already, many animal species have gone extinct due to human activities and we can never bring them back. Every day the climate and other species are impacted by how we humans live and act. The fashion industry has unfortunately played a role in this problem with fast fashion, throw away products, and environmentally harmful materials.

At Quagga Green, we aim to do our part and empower our customers to change the current course and leave the planet a better place for everyone.

That change starts with you, with every Quagga Green purchase 1% is donated to the Big Life Foundation. If you would like more information or to donate, please visit the Big Life Foundation.
